The seat height may put some off, but consider that, with the lowest seat available, you can take it down from 920mm to 860mm, and it becomes far more manageable. On-road it’s great fun, and I personally thought there was more than enough get-up-and-go to have a fun, engaging ride.

Thanks, Mark. I ride a 2019 ATAS, am 5'11" with 32" inseam. I can flat foot most of the time with the optional low seat and am considering putting the original stock seat back on the bike. The 2018 and 2019 ATAS both have the same saddle height. You should probably be okay with either.
The Honda low saddle works for me. 32" inseam and 5' 11" and not that bad for price. Not necessarily the most comfortable seat I have used but definitely not the worst. As I get more comfortable with the bike I may try the original seat again.

Hands down the Africa Twin and not just because I own one. I'll tell you my reasons: Low Seat height is a boon, especially for those of us in the "Indian standard height" category. AT's seat height in the lower seat setting is 810mm. I am also ~5'7" and trust me this is a boon.

Hi Hood, yeah got and used the altered seat for a 1 week tour and found it better than the low version, but no better than the standard height seat. Ive since fitted a Seat Concepts kit and it's no softer than the oem but it's shaped better for more comfort.
