2009 328i Heater Blows Cold. Hello all, new to BMW, and the forum. I searched for this issue first, but didn't really find much. My heater worked fine last winter, but this year I'm getting warm air (Not warm enough) from the passenger side vents and cold air from the driver side vents. Heat turned up all the way, all knobs set to the red zone
If the O 2 sensor heater circuit’s negative wire goes directly to ground, look for a short-to-power problem. Usually the heater circuit in this case is controlled by a relay. Remove the relay and retest the circuit. If the light comes on again, locate the short-to-voltage in the wiring harness with the relay removed.

2014 35d. Its starting to get cold up here in the north east, so we figured we would try out the heated seats for the first time since purchasing our X5 3 months ago. The drivers seat back does NOT get hot. Doesn't even get warm. Seat bottom gets hot like it should, and so does the bottom and back of the passenger seat.

Click HERE to join and feel free to use my BMW CCA member # 191509 as a referral. Turning on the rear defroster is not going to do anything in your BMW, that's not how they work. If it didn't clear the frost on your mirror after your car was on for 10 minutes or so, you've got a problem for the dealer.

At least on my case i see that at idle temperature is at 150°F and i get heat, after driving for 2-3 minutes the temperature gets to 163°F maybe more and the thermostat opens. Then the temperature drops to 140°F and heat goes away. Temperature stays at 140°F all the time. Im thinking a stuck open thermostat.
Today we're replacing the heater control valve on my E60 550i! This part commonly fails and leads to hot air forced on one side of the car or both, even when Reasons: Low coolant levels in your BMW can be caused by a variety of reasons. One potential cause is a leak in the coolant system, which could be due to a damaged hose or radiator. Over time, these components can wear out and develop small holes, causing the coolant to slowly leak out.
Blowing warm air, Not hot air. 06 BMW 325i, My car will not blow hot air, Only slightly warm. When it is cold I get no heat. Changed water pump and 3 thermostats, It did not help. I'm told the engine do not reach the correct temperature and the fan comes on to lower the temp even more. The experts are now telling me it could be the DME computer.

But you can see the antenna pack on the lower pillar, and you'll be able to see clearly the heated rear window wiring when you remove the trim on both sides. You will pick up 12V either side of the screen if the earth is bad as the screen elements provide no resistance, i.e. the current doesn't flow. Appreciate 1.
